This comes from one of the Big Green Egg's most popular posters, Nature Boy, of Dizzy Pig fame:

"My mom always told me when I was young, that if I ate seeds, the plants would grow out of my ears. I am gonna have pumpkin plants growing soon!! "

Ingredients:

• Pumpkin seeds

• Sesame oil

• paprika
• garlic salt
• garlic powder
• lemon pepper
• black pepper
• ground cumin

Preparation Directions:

• Soak the pumpkin seeds in salt water, then drain.
• Put the seeds in a bowl and stir them with the sesame oil to coat.
• Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the bowl, stirring the seeds to coat with the spice mixture.

Cooking Directions:

Cook on a perforated aluminum pizza pan for about an hour at 200 degrees. Add a handful of hickory chips to the fire, if desired.
