The Great Starbucks Coffee Mystery

The saga continues to continue. You may remember that we actually like the bakery goods that Starbucks sells. No wonder, since they are not made by Starbucks, unlike their coffee. Well, we love the maple scones they sell and we've been trying to get our good friend Mark to try them. The last time he went in, they were out. We had to go home to meet the exterminator, so on the way back to work we popped into Starbucks to get Mark one of these incredible delicacies.
We noticed that they didn't have any of the focacia bread, so we asked if they were just out. Unbelievable as it may seem they have stopped carrying the focacia bread. Now this truly is a great loss. The focacia bread they sell was truly wonderful. Moist dense bread topped with rings of onion and red bell pepper, accented with various spices. Man, oh man. It is better than anything you will find in a grocery store and almost as good as you'll find in an Italian bakery. So, I guess it stands to reason that Starbucks would discontinue carrying it. It tastes good, so we'd better not sell any!!
So, we thought we would give you the benefit of an inside tip from Hot Off The Internet Scraped Off the Street Insider's Stock Tips. We currently have Starbucks Coffee listed as a SELL. These people have shit for brains and the company is going to go right down the toilet as soon as this fad is over. You heard it here first.
Incidentally, the stock recommendation could be changed to a HOLD if we find any more sales people at Starbucks like the one we met today. This guy was nice, and when we asked about the focacia bread, his answer was basically, "don't blame me, some moron at the corporate level doesn't think we sell enough." Alright!! Now here's a mind-set that we can deal with! He didn't suggest to us that we might not be familiar with their bakery goods. He didn't ask us what kind of toaster oven we had. He didn't tell us what we should like and what we shouldn't like. He'll be gone within a week if his boss finds out that he is doing such a good job.
