Brown Sugar Glaze And Almonds

A very simple recipe for grilling trout filets using alder chips.
Melt the butter in a small frying pan and add the almond slices. Stir over medium heat until lightly toasted. Set aside.
Stabilize your egg at 350 degrees. Toss a handful or two of alder chips onto the fire and place the fish grid on a raised grid in the egg. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
